Join us for a fun and fannish afternoon and evening!
Come as early at 2 pm for chatting, trivia, and sharing your favorite clips
Fandom themed cocktails and mocktails (open bar included!) starting at 5 pm
Delicious catered buffet dinner at 6:30 pm, with a well-labeled variety of omnivore/vegetarian/gluten-free options
Vid show (aka curated fan edits) at 7:30 pm
...and then it's DANCE PARTY until 11 pm, with a terrific playlist and a backdrop of photos (so many photos) on multiple screens
There will be plenty of quieter space for conversation available all afternoon and evening
Plus! We're organizing a brunch on Sunday, October 11 at a delightful nearby DC restaurant (sorry, this is not part of the registration fee)
Bringing the fun
Cosplay, fannish hockey gear, freebies, all highly encouraged
Be prepared to pimp your faves: Hockey players! Mounties! Idols! Vampires! Emergency Rooms Doctors! Wizards! -- and more!
We'll have a shared playlist, vid list, and AO3 rec list
Logistics
This is an over-18 event. There will be adult content.
Location: The event is at the corner of Connecticut and Florida Avenues, NW, in Washington DC
Getting there: Lots of options!
1. Rideshare to 2000 Florida Avenue, NW
2. Metro to Dupont Circle (red line); take the North exit, walk north on Connecticut Ave, turn right on Florida Ave. 8 minutes, 0.3 miles
3. Park in one of several public parking lots within 0.1 miles; there is also limited street parking
Not local? Lots of options!
1. The Washington Hilton is across the street
2. Several nearby boutique hotels are also fun
3. Lower cost options are easily accessible via Metro
